Job Purpose:
The Human Resources generalist manages the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources department. The HR generalist manages the administration of the company's policies and procedures and carries out functions related to the following areas; recruitment, retention, and termination, employee relations, and compensation and benefits.

Major Responsibilities Include:
• Recruitment, staffing and follow ups. This will be a major element of the position.
• Employee orientation
• Policy development and documentation
• Employee relations
• Compensation and benefits administration

Primary Objectives:
• Continuous development of the Human Resources department
• Development of a superior workforce
• Development of a company culture that emphasizes quality, continuous improvement, and high performance

Requirements:

• Strong interpersonal skills; ability to communicate, and listen actively
• Ability to take initiative when it is needed

Technical Knowledge of:
• Microsoft Office; Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Microsoft Outlook
• Windows XP

Special Conditions
• Full time: 37.5 hours a week
• Days required to work: Monday to Friday
• Must be fluently bilingual (French and English)
