Under the supervision of The Director of Finance and Administration, the IT & Website Administrator will ensure the integrity and provide technical support for the Association's databases, servers, networks, software and hardware for all information technology areas of the Association. This position will also provide support to the Communications-Marketing department by assessing the current needs of the organization and suggesting improvements, including but not limited to assessing cloud technology, cross platform file sharing and form creation and implementation.

Responsibilities will include but will not be limited to:

•Managing and providing technical support for the Association's hardware, software, servers, network and other IT components.
•Ensuring security of the networks, backups, archiving and disaster recovery.
•Responsible for set up and connectivity of AV equipment and softwares
•Liaising with the relevant internal and external parties to ensure that the Association's computerised systems and networks are managed and maintained effectively.
•Providing support and liaising with service provider with respect to the telephone systems of the Association.
•Providing staff training in regards to all areas managed by the position.
•Database maintenance & clean up
•Creating and posting weekly online newsletters and material for social media accounts
•Researching social media trends and making suggestions to Communications-Marketing department
•Researching emerging trends in IT and developing strategies accordingly
•Collaborating with Communications-Marketing department on creation and implementation of new forms and the redesign of current forms
•Providing support to the Communications-Marketing department to develop and maintain intranet and website content.

Key Requirements:

•3 to 4 years of relevant experience
•Strong knowledge of IT components such as hardware, software and networks
•Strong knowledge of MAC, PC and Cloud
•Advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite
•Knowledge of and experience with web analytics and intranets
•Experience with website development and maintenance
•Understanding of and ability to provide superior customer service skills
•Strong interpersonal, teamwork and leadership skills
•Ability to multi-task and work effectively under pressure while meeting deadlines
•Ability to work independently


•Experience with project management software
•Bilingual (English and French spoken)
•Degree or certification and/or has educational background in IT
