An individual with experience as a Legal Assistant and Litigation is ideal. We are looking for a team player that can work well under pressure and is committed to achieving goals and meeting deadlines.

Job description:
As the LEGAL ASSISTANT in Litigation you will be supporting a young and dynamic Partner. This is a hands on role completing administration, helping with the overflow of work and assisting with high pressure emergency cases.

The LEGAL ASSISTANT'S responsibilities include:
Clerical, administrative and general office duties
Drafting letters
Document organization
Preparation of litigation documents
Maintaining records and filings
Attending to billings, expenses and updating and maintaining bring forward systems, contacts and emails
Maintaining an up-to-date file and diary system
Building a positive rapport with clients.

Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years experience as a Legal Assistant with litigation experience
Comprehensive knowledge of litigation practices
Fully bilingual and thorough knowledge of legal terminology and procedures required
Proficient on MS Suites
Ability to work under pressure and prioritize effectively
High organizational skills in order to meet specific time frames and deadlines
Goal-orientated, self motivated
Team player - with the ability to work unsupervised
